Melissa Education Foundation
LACORE™ Enterprises is a proud sponsor of The Melissa Education Foundation. The MEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises monies to award student scholarships and teaching grants. To date, they have given over $480,000 to fund scholarships for Melissa High School graduates and teaching grants for Melissa ISD educators. We had a wonderful time at their Annual Gala & Auction this year and will continue to support education in our community.
Run for Ellie
Ellie Slate is a very happy, beautiful soccer playing 11 year old that was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. bHIP corporate participated in a 5K run on October 10th to raise money to support Ellie’s Fight!
The Conference Table Gets a Second Life
We've been doing some expansion at the bhip offices, one of the LACORE™ Enterprises companies, and needed to find a new home for some of the office furnishings. Giving local organizations first dibs on our gigantic conference table and chairs who might not otherwise have the budget for executive-level furniture was a priority. We want to thank the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and Volunteer McKinney for helping connect us with the Assistance Center of Collin County who are giving the furniture a second life.
